摘要: Apparatus and method for transferring promotional messages to a mobile communication device. A promotional message is generated for display on a mobile communication device. The promotional message is associated with an entity having a physical location. The promotional message has a plurality of different types of content each associated with a different distance between the mobile communication device and a physical location of the entity. The generated promotional message is thereafter stored in a memory. A controller selects and transfers the promotional message to the mobile communication device responsive to a detected distance between the mobile communication device and the physical location. The transferred promotional message displays, on the device, a selected one of the different types of content corresponding to the detected distance.

A natural language processor component can parse an input audio signal to identify a request and a keyword. A content selector can select digital components based on keyword and request. An audio signal generator component can generate an output signal that includes a selected digital components. An interface can transmit the output signal to cause a client computing device to drive a speaker to generate an acoustic wave corresponding to the output signal prior to occurrence of at least one of the first action and the second action.

The method can include receiving, by the mobile computing device, a first radio frequency signal including the location of the first beacon device and a second radio frequency signal including the location of the second beacon device. The method can further include determining a first time-of-flight associated with the first beacon device and a second time-of-flight associated with the second beacon device. The method can include determining a location of the mobile computing device based at least in part on the first time-of-flight, the second time-of-flight, the location of the first beacon device, and the location of the second beacon device.

摘要: A computer program product has a computer-readable storage medium having computer program instructions embodied therein for performing a method for implementing a privacy policy for a user. The method may include the user developing rules that determine whether another user (requester) can access information related to the user. The rules may be stored in a database coupled to a server and evaluated when a request is received from the requester to access the information. If a rule is satisfied by the requester, the server can return the information to the requester. The information can be returned at a level of granularity specified by the user in the satisfied rule. A privacy level can be set by the user to allow access to requesters based on the rules or to deny access to any requesters.
