摘要: Methods involve distributing a data stream in a value-document processing apparatus from at least one sensor to at least one processing unit as well as a system for distributing sensor data. The value-document processing apparatus has a distributing device and at least one processing unit. The distributing device comprises at least two data interfaces. A sensor data packet is created and comprises the sensor data and a target address. The target address describes a physical memory address of the at least one processing unit. The sensor data packet is sent to one of the data interfaces of the distributing device. The distributing device receives the sensor data packet at a further data interface. The sensor data packet is relayed by the distributing device to the at least one processing unit.

摘要: An apparatus and method for classifying value documents includes least two sensor devices arranged to capture waves reflected on a front side and on a back side of a value document and to generate corresponding sensor data or to capture properties of the value document in at least two different regions of the value document by means of different measuring principles and to generate corresponding sensor data. At least one evaluation device is arranged to classify the value document with the aid of the sensor data generated by the at least two sensor devices, which sensor data relate to the waves reflected on the front side and back side of the value document or to the properties of the value document captured in the at least two different regions of the value document by means of different measuring principles.

摘要: A method involves transferring a transmittal data block from a transmitting device via an Ethernet connection to a receiving device which has a storage for storing a transferred transmittal data block, and a processor for at least partially processing the transferred transmittal data block stored in the storage. The transmitting device forms from the data of the transmittal data block a sequence of Ethernet packets, comprising respectively management data and a transmittal data sub-block. The receiving device receives the Ethernet packets of the respective sequence and, while employing at least a part of the management data, writes the transmittal data sub-blocks of the received Ethernet packets of the sequence of Ethernet packets for the transmittal data block to the storage, wherein not upon or after the writing each of the transmittal data sub-blocks an interrupt is sent to the processor.
