Abstract: A fuel and gas mixing structure for an engine is provided. This mixing structure includes a body configured to be positioned between a fuel injector and a cylinder of an engine. The body defines an interior volume that is configured to receive gas from outside the body and to receive one or more streams of fuel from the fuel injector in the interior volume. The body also defines one or more mixture conduits configured to conduct plumes of the fuel and gas, while mixing, from the interior volume to one or more exit ports and therethrough to the cylinder.

Abstract: A charge air cooler cover includes a nozzle configured for connection to an outlet of a compressor for receiving charge air, a tray configured for connection to an inlet of a charge air cooler, and a plenum leading from the nozzle to a plurality of passages defined by a plurality of ribs. The plurality of passages connects the plenum to the tray. The ribs and the tray are arranged to achieve substantially uniform charge air velocity across the inlet of the charge air cooler, in at least one mode of operation.

Abstract: A thermal management system includes a housing, and a monolithic core structure disposed within the housing. An outer surface of the core structure defines at least part of a first passageway. An inner surface of the core structure defines at least part of a second passageway. The core structure includes a separator wall that isolates a first flow passing through the first passageway from a second flow passing through the second passageway. The first passageway is in thermal communication with the second passageway. The core structure includes one or more heat exchanger features, or fins, that are positioned within the first passageway, the second passageway, or both the first and second passageways. The core structure may have a compliant segment coupled to two or more walls.
