摘要: A common-mode voltage cancellation (CMVC) circuit, is disclosed. The circuit includes a set of input lines arranged to receive a respective phase voltage, and a set of output lines arranged to provide a respective output phase voltage. The circuit further includes a set of coupled inductors, each having a respective primary winding and secondary winding coupled in signal communication at a respective upstream end to a respective input line to receive a respective phase voltage therefrom, each respective phase voltage having a common-mode voltage component. Each primary winding being coupled at a respective downstream end to ground, and each secondary winding being coupled in series between the respective input line and a respective output line. The circuit includes a set of capacitors, each capacitor being electrically coupled to a respective input line and in series with a respective primary winding of the set of coupled inductors.

摘要: An aircraft starting and generating system includes a starter/generator and an inverter/converter/controller that is connected to the starter/generator and that generates AC power to drive the starter/generator in a start mode for starting a prime mover of the aircraft, and that converts AC power, obtained from the starter/generator after the prime mover have been started, to DC power in a generate mode of the starter/generator. A four leg inverter is coupled with the DC power output and has an inverter/converter/controller (ICC) with a four leg MOSFET-based bridge configuration that drives the starter/generator in a start mode for starting a prime mover of the aircraft, and converts DC power to AC power in a generate mode of the starter/generator. A four leg bridge gate driver is configured to drive the four leg MOSFET-based bridge using pulse width modulation (PWM) during start and generate mode.

摘要: A turbofan engine includes a turbine engine having a rotatable fan and a generator. The generator further includes a main machine, an exciter, and a generator control unit for controlling the excitation of the main machine. A rotor assembly is located within one of the blades, and a stator assembly that is along a rotational path of the rotor assembly whereby the operation of the turbine engine rotates the fan, which rotates the rotor assembly along its rotational path past the stator assembly to generate electricity.
