Abstract: The pixel region includes a first phase difference pixel group including a plurality of the phase difference pixels of which the first side of the photoelectric conversion element is blocked by the light blocking layer in a first side region of the first side, and a second phase difference pixel group including a plurality of the phase difference pixels of which the second side of the photoelectric conversion element is blocked by the light blocking layer. The first phase difference pixel group includes a first A pixel and a first B pixel in which a light blocking area of the photoelectric conversion element using the light blocking layer is smaller than that of the first A pixel. The controller performs addition readout processing in which at least one of a pixel signal of the first A pixel or a pixel signal of the first B pixel is weighted in accordance with optical characteristics of the imaging lens.

Abstract: An image blur correction device includes an acceleration sensor, an angular velocity sensor, and a system control unit that calculates rotational acceleration components which are included in detected accelerations and are generated by rotation of a digital camera around a rotation axis parallel to an optical axis, and corrects blurs of the captured image signal in directions based on accelerations obtained by subtracting the rotational acceleration components from the accelerations detected by the acceleration sensor. The system control unit selects one of rotation axes based on a usage state of the digital camera, and calculates the rotational acceleration components generated by the rotation of the digital camera around the selected rotation axis based on an angular velocity and distances in the directions from the selected rotation axis to the acceleration sensor.

Abstract: A received light signal of the measurement light which is reflected from the subject and is then incident on a distance image sensor is acquired from the distance image sensor and a distance image is generated on the basis of the acquired received light signal. The position of a leading end of a medical instrument inserted into the subject is acquired. A leading end position image indicating the position of the leading end of the medical instrument in the subject is acquired. A projection image which is projected to the subject and corresponds to a surface shape of a corresponding part of the subject corresponding to the position of the leading end is generated from the leading end position image, on the basis of the shape of the subject detected from the distance image and the position of the leading end. The projection image is projected to the corresponding part.
