    Abstract: A post-processing device includes: a unit that performs post-processing; a guide unit that guides the unit to a position at which the unit performs the post-processing, and has a first guide portion extending in a width direction of a medium, a second guide portion that is disposed at an end portion of the first guide portion, is inclined with respect to the width direction of the medium, and guides the unit to a corner of the medium, a third guide portion that is disposed at the end portion of the first guide portion and branches off from the second guide portion to extend, and a fourth guide portion that connects the second guide portion to the third guide portion; and a branching unit that is disposed at a portion at which the second guide portion and the third guide portion branch off from each other, guides the unit from the first guide portion toward the second guide portion, and guides the unit from the third guide portion toward the first guide portion.

    Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes an upper ejection roller and a lower ejection roller that are disposed vertically side by side in an apparatus body and transport a recording material, a relay section that is disposed at an upper part of the apparatus body and further transports the recording material transported from the lower ejection roller and that places the recording material transported from the upper ejection roller on an upper surface of the relay section, a post-processing section that is disposed on a side surface of the apparatus body, receives the recording material via the relay section, and performs post-processing, and a controller that performs a control such that the recording material is transported from the upper ejection roller to the upper surface of the relay section in a case where the recording material is a long sheet.

    Abstract: A manufacturing method of a staple-less binding unit that includes a first binding unit that has plural recesses and projections and a second binding unit that is arranged to face the first binding unit and has recesses and projections that fit to the recesses and the projections of the first binding unit and in which mediums are bound by being interposed between the first binding unit and the second binding unit in a thickness direction of the mediums includes forming the binding units with a die, adjusting center positions of projecting portions of the binding units formed by the die and removed from the die, and adjusting outer shapes of the projecting portions of which the center positions have been adjusted.
