    摘要: There is disclosed stable aqueous slurry automatic dishwasher detergent compositions comprising a chlorine bleaching agent and a dual function bleach stabilizer and anticorrosion agent comprising sulfamic acid, or its water soluble salts. Such formulations containing a molar ratio of at least about 0.5:1 sulfamic acid/bleaching agent provides protection against corrosion of silver metal and stabilizes bleach in the detergent composition.

    摘要: The concentration of sulfur trioxides in an FCC unit regenerator is maintained within environmentally accepted limits, while maintaining an adequate amount of gas for fluidizing conditions in the regenerator, by admixing the regenerator oxygen-containing gas with an inert gas. The quantity of the inert gas is controlled by a control loop measuring the pressure drop in the regenerator, and adjusting the amount of the inert gas to maintain the pressure drop within the predetermined limits.

    摘要: A valve and dispensing assembly for dispensing powdered material from a container includes a flexible tube intended to be collapsed to actuate a valve which permits the tube to selectively open for dispensing the material through the tube. The assembly includes a flexible tube apparatus including a body attachable to the container and a valve releasably received within the tube and normally closing it off. Collapse of the tube causes it to move relatively of the valve to unseat it and open the tube for material discharge. The assembly also includes a declumper secured to the tube for movement therewith during collapse of the tube. The valve closes off the tube when in its uncollapsed condition while the tube and declumper move relatively of the valve during collapse to open the tube. A portion of the declumper is bifurcated and has serrated opposed edges which can engage the head of the valve during the tube collapse to assist in breaking up clumps which may have formed in the material.

    摘要: An originally viscous, non-flowable and non-pumpable cleaning composition made less viscous, flowable and pumpable by the addition of psyllium husks to the composition. The cleaning composition includes an oil phase including at least one of a hydrocarbon oil and a hydrocarbon solvent and mixtures thereof, and at least one of a fatty acid and a non-fatty acid soap surfactant; and the water phase including water and a base. The addition of psyllium husks in various amounts relative to the amount of water in the composition makes the composition flowable. In particular, the addition of from about 2 to about 38 percent by weight of psyllium husks has been found to be suitable to provide a flowable composition containing between about 30 and 55 percent water. A method for the preparation of flowable cleaning compositions is also provided. The cleaning composition (13) forms a novel combination with a container (10) as a replacement element for dispensing apparatus.

    摘要: A new heat sink composition having relatively high volumetric heat capacity and relatively high density have been prepared. The compositions comprise a set of formulas including: a) 50-95% oxide of iron and 50-5% of a mixture of clay, an organic binder or an inorganic binder, where said mixture can contain any portion of clay, organic binder or inorganic binder in any proportions provided the mixture adheres to the 50-5% compositional range; b) 15-95% oxide of iron and 85-5% of clay; c) 15-85% oxide of iron, 10-2% of a transition metal oxide other than iron and 75-13% inorganic binder; and d) 50-80% oxide of iron, 15-5% of talc and 35-15% clay. The compositions show good dried and fired properties and can even be loaded and fired in-situ because they possess good dried crush strength.

    摘要: Existing fractional distillation columns, especially those in extensive commercial use for separating the lower molecular weight hydrocarbons, are often limited in the quality of separation achievable by the heat-absorbing capacity of and/or the minimum operating temperature of their associated refrigeration equipment. The separation efficiency of such equipment can be improved by introducing an auxiliary material into the equipment to provide additional reflux volume without the need for added refrigeration capacity. The auxiliary material must be less volatile than the primary constituent(s) of the off-gas from the column, and it advantageously should also be less volatile than the majority of the bottoms stream from the column, in order to facilitate later separation.
