    Abstract: Disclosed is a method for processing interaction between a user and hologram using a volumetric data type object wave field. A method for processing interaction between a user and hologram for user's action using a volumetric data type object wave field includes: capturing user action on the holographic image of the object and solving collision between user and object; computing the updated position and rotation of the object by time integration of rigid body equation in collision; calculating the relative position and rotation of the hologram plane with respect to local object coordinates; transforming the hologram in the pre-computed volumetric object wave field grid according to the relative position and rotation of the hologram plane in local object coordinates and reading the object wave fields at all the pixels of the transformed hologram plane in order to generate a new hologram for the transformed object caused by user action.

    Abstract: Provided are a shoe image retrieval apparatus and method using a matching pair, which can accurately retrieve image information corresponding to an inputted image from the database and provide the retrieved image information, by normalizing a correspondence relation in consideration of geometric image transformation about the matching pair and allowing a similar image to be retrieved by applying the normalized correspondence relation. It is possible to detect optimum geometric image transformation from a matching pair between the inputted shoe image and the image stored in the database and simultaneously retrieve a plurality of objects in the inputted shoe image based on the detected geometric image transformation, thereby providing an efficient shoe retrieval service.

    Abstract: A system and a method perform buoyance of a 3D hologram image on a hologram display screen in a projection mode. A system of displaying a digital hologram includes: a composite hologram unit configured to generate a hologram array by receiving hologram data of a fringe pattern and by compositing background image and a foreground image using the received fringe pattern; a hologram projection unit configured to project a hologram image through a wide-angle lens by applying a light to the hologram array; and a hologram display unit configured to perform space buoyance of the hologram image projected by the hologram projection unit on a 3D hologram display screen. The digital hologram content is managed in real time, and transmission of the digital hologram content to a remote place and site adaptive display of hologram image media may be achieved.
