Abstract: A lighting system includes a converter configured to receive a rectified input voltage and to generate an output voltage based on a gate control signal; a PFC controller including a zero-crossing input, and configured to generate the gate control signal to adjust the output voltage of the converter based on a zero-crossing voltage at the zero-crossing input; a zero-crossing delay circuit coupled between an output of the converter and the zero-crossing input, and configured to slow a rate of change of the zero-crossing voltage based on one or more delay control signals; and a channel controller configured to identify a low-load state of the lighting system, and, in response, to generate the one or more delay control signals.
