摘要: An optical component is configured to optically connect a light-emitting element and an optical fiber, and includes an optical surface arranged in a middle of an optical path of a light to be emitted from the light-emitting element to the optical fiber to reflect the light. The optical surface includes an optical path area configured to reflect the light and a non-optical path area other than the optical path area, and the optical path area and the non-optical path area are coplanar. The optical path area has a smooth surface, and at least a part of the non-optical path area has a rough surface which is rougher than the optical path area.

摘要: Provided is an optical receptacle (140) having an installation plane (141), an optical plane, and a reference plane (147). An inclination angle of the reference plane (147) with respect to the installation plane (141) is smaller than an inclination angle of the optical plane with respect to the installation plane (141). Then, a first inclination angle θ1 that is the inclination angle of the reference plane (147) with respect to the installation plane (141) and a second inclination angle θ2 that is an inclination angle of the optical plane with respect to the reference plane (147) are measured. Then, the first inclination angle θ1 is added to the second inclination angle θ2 to calculate a third inclination angle θ3 that is the inclination angle of the optical plane with respect to the installation plane (141).

摘要: An optical connector for optically coupling optical transmission members to each other includes a first optical portion, a second optical portion, and a groove extending in one direction for disposing the optical transmission member in such a way that at least part of the end surface of the optical transmission member contacts the first optical portion. In the optical connector, in a cross section including the axis of the groove and an optical path between the first optical portion and the second optical portion, the angle between a surface of the first optical portion contacting the end surface of the optical transmission member and the axis of the groove is less than 90°.
