Abstract: The present invention relates to methods of processing organic waste, in particular it relates to a method for making fertiliser from organic waste, especially slow release fertiliser. The present invention also relates to fertilisers made by the method of the invention, especially slow release fertiliser. The method of processing organic waste to provide a slow-release fertiliser may comprise at least one hydrolysis step to provide hydrolysed organic waste and a setting step to provide a slow release fertiliser.
