Abstract: An operation method of a first communication node in a communication system including an evolved packet core (EPC), a plurality of base stations, and a communication network connecting the EPC and the plurality of base stations may comprise transmitting a first message requesting a packet data network (PDN) connection to a second communication node included in the communication network; receiving a second message including an internet protocol (IP) address-related information from the second communication node; and dynamically assigning IP addresses to the plurality of base stations connected to the first communication node based on the IP address-related information.
