Disclosed herein are a motion-based virtual-reality simulator device and a method for controlling the same. The motion-based virtual-reality simulator device includes a virtual-reality interface for outputting virtual reality content in a form of multi-sense data that is perceptible by a user, a virtual-reality movement implementation unit including a track component for performing continuous track motion in a state in which a user gets on the track component, the track component being configured such that a slope of the track component is controlled while a surface of the track component is deformed into an even surface or an uneven surface, and an interworking control unit for outputting a control signal to the virtual-reality movement implementation unit so that a slope and a surface of the track component are deformed in accordance with the virtual reality content that is output through the virtual-reality interface.

An interactive content control apparatus and method includes a depth information acquisition unit for acquiring an image that includes depth information by capturing a static background object and a dynamic foreground object, and for calculating depth maps based on respective depth values of the static background object and the dynamic foreground object from the image, a display unit for projecting image content including a background image and an object image on a surface of the static background object captured by the depth information acquisition unit, and an image mapping unit for recognizing the dynamic foreground object depending on the depth maps based on the depth values calculated by the depth information acquisition unit, and controlling the display unit so that an object image projected on the surface of the static background object is transferred to and projected on a surface of the dynamic foreground object.

An apparatus for displaying image content based on pop-up book includes: a database for storing multiple pieces of reference depth-based mesh information, acquired for each page of pop-up book where stereoscopic shapes stand when the pop-up book is opened, and image content corresponding to each page; a depth information acquisition unit for acquiring an image including depth information by capturing the current page where the stereoscopic shapes protrude as a result of opening the pop-up book at arbitrary point, and generating depth-based mesh information about the current page; and a display unit for recognizing the current page by matching the multiple reference depth-based mesh information with the depth-based mesh information about the current page, generated by the depth information acquisition unit, extracting image content corresponding to the recognized current page from the database, and projecting it onto the current page.

A motion platform system includes: a wide-viewing-angle display configured to provide images according to user's head movement; a paragliding harness; a control hand brake; a top frame configured to fix the paragliding harness; a lamp structure configured to support the top frame; and a computing device configured to produce contents for the images.
