    摘要： A cosmetic compact has a pan made from an elastomeric material. The pan is elastically biased to a size that is smaller than a pre-formed cake of cosmetic product. The empty pan is temporarily expanded by applying vacuum to a bottom and sidewalls of the pan. The cake of cosmetic is inserted in the expanded pan and the pan is released from the vacuum. The pan contracts toward the smaller size and thus traps and holds the cake in the compact.

    摘要： A refillable unit dose package for frozen cosmetic or personal care products that can provide a chilling effect during application. The main components of the package are a reservoir and an applicator. The applicator comprises a handle and an applicator head depending from the handle. In use, a product in the reservoir is frozen, which causes the product to bond to the applicator head. The handle is used to lift the frozen product out of the reservoir, and draw the frozen product over the skin. As it melts from the heat of the skin, the product can be spread on the skin. The reservoir is refillable by a consumer.

    摘要： A heating applicator system that heats personal care products without concerns of dry-out as a result of repeated exposure to heat comprising a disposable container subassembly and a reusable handle subassembly. The container subassembly comprises a lower printed circuit board that has heating elements disposed thereon. The reusable handle subassembly houses an upper printed circuit board that has electronic control elements. When the handle subassembly is attached to the container subassembly, the two circuit boards form an electric connection and create an electric heating circuit. Subsequently, the handle subassembly is able to detach from the container while the applicator head remains attached to the handle subassembly. After each use, the applicator head is replaced in the container. When the product is used up, the applicator head and the container can be detached from the handle subassembly. The handle subassembly can be reused, while the container and applicator head are discarded.
