Abstract: The expandable hand-held fan having noise making means integrated thereon comprises a fan that when folded shut resembles a miniature baseball bat. Upon extending the fan, advertising indicia is printed thereon, and may be associated with sports team, logo, etc. The fan includes noise making means upon the fan, and produces noise upon movement of air across the noise making member.

Abstract: Personal fan devices that are configured to transition between an open configuration for use and a closed configuration for storage or transport. A fan device includes noisemaking structure(s), such as a rattle and/or a clapper, disposed with the fan device. As the fan device is moved, the handle generates noise as a result of the noisemaking structure(s). A plurality of fan devices may be used to generate high-decibel noises at an event, such as a sporting event or a performance.
