    摘要: A blank cartridge for training purposes in the form of an elongated case made of thermoplastic synthetic resin and forming a hollow simulated projectile and a powder chamber. The case is provided with weakening lines for providing a predetermined rupturing of the case in the form of external longitudinal grooves or slots extending from the tip of the simulated projectile over substantially the entire length of the projectile. The powder chamber is provided with a powder charge mass of at least 10 g. and internal longitudinal grooves may also be provided.

    摘要: Rifle grenade for launching from the barrel of a firearm having a grenade body, a launching tube and a detonator. The detonator is in the form of impact-initiatable igniter disposed at one end of the grenade body facing the launching tube and having a striker element spaced from the igniter in a safety position. The striker element is arranged to move forwardly toward the igniter to impact thereon upon launching of the grenade. A delay train may be interposed between the igniter and material carried by the grenade body for igniting the material after a predetermined delay.

    摘要: The recoilless practice cartridge is to be fired from the subcaliber barrel insert of a recoilless firearm and is provided with a projectile having a rearwardly opening central bore communicating with radial bores opening against an annular propellant charge surrounding a portion of the projectile. The practice cartridge case is provided with a bottom piece having one or more bores for receiving a detonator for ignition the propellant charge by passing a flame through the bores of the projectile and for thereafter conducting the propellant gas rearwardly through the cartridge case to counteract the recoil of firing the projectile from the cartridge case. Tamping means are provided for the propellant charge on the projectile and for the bottom piece bores.

    摘要: A locking pin extends between the firing pin and primer element of a projectile to prevent their engagement during transport and while within the barrel of the firing device because of the radial abutment of a safety member that will move axially out of engagement only after the projectile has left the barrel of the firing device so that the locking member may move radially outward to arm the device. The safety member may be the radial abutment of the cartridge case tubular wall before firing and the interior surfaces of the firing device barrel during firing, with the locking member preferably being spring urged outwardly. Also, the safety member may be an axially extending pin prevented from rearward movement out of engagement with the locking member by a spacer disc separable upon exit from the barrel or the cartridge bottom piece.
