    Abstract: The heat exchanger has tubes and a header tank that is located at an end of the tubes in a longitudinal direction and communicates with the tubes. The header tank has a core plate that connects to the tubes and a tank body that is fixed to the core plate. The core plate has a tube connection surface, a sealing surface, and an inclined surface that connects the tube connection surface and the sealing surface with each other. A distance between the tube connection surface and an end surface of the tubes in the longitudinal direction is different from a distance between the sealing surface and the end surface in the longitudinal direction by disposing the inclined surface to incline with respect to the longitudinal direction. The tubes connect to the tube connection surface and the inclined surface in a condition of being inserted to the tube connection surface and the inclined surface.

    Abstract: A reserve tank includes a vapor-liquid separator, an inlet portion, an outlet portion, and a protrusion. The vapor-liquid separator defines an inner space for separating a vapor phase and a liquid phase of a cooling water. The inlet portion defines a first opening through which the cooling water is supplied into the inner space and the outlet portion defines a second opening through which the cooling water is discharged from the inner space. The protrusion protrudes upward from a bottom surface of the vapor-liquid separator. An inner circumferential surface of the vapor-liquid separator and an outer circumferential surface of the protrusion are coaxially provided to define an annular passage in the inner space. The cooling water introduced from the first opening flows spirally in the annular passage.

    Abstract: An aluminum alloy brazing sheet for heat exchangers has a core, a sacrificial material formed on one side of the core, and a brazing filler metal formed on the other side of the core. The core is made of an aluminum alloy containing Si, Cu, Mn, and Al. The sacrificial material is made of an aluminum alloy containing Si, Zn, Mg, and Al. The brazing filler metal is made of an aluminum alloy. The aluminum alloy brazing sheet for heat exchangers has a work hardening exponent n of not less than 0.05. The core has an average crystal grain size of not more than 10 μm in a cross-section. The aluminum alloy brazing sheet for heat exchangers has excellent strength and corrosion resistance even when it is formed into a thin material and also has excellent high frequency weldability and weld cracking resistance during electric resistance welding.

    Abstract: A heat exchanger has a core plate connected to a tank member by clamping claws. The tank member has a waved outer surface including outer ridge portions and outer valley portions which are disposed alternately. The tank member also has a waved inner surface including inner ridge portions and inner valley portions which are disposed alternately. The outer valley portions are capable of receiving the claws. The inner ridge portion is positioned inside the outer valley portion in a width direction. The inner ridge portion is positioned between the adjacent tubes and/or between extensions of the tubes in a height direction. An inner width of the tank member regulated by the inner ridge portions is narrower than a width of the tube.
