Abstract: An image sensor includes multiple photoelectric conversion elements and multiple individual color filters to generate multiple colors. The multiple individual color filters are arranged corresponding to the multiple photoelectric conversion elements, respectively. At least one of the multiple individual color filters includes a primary color type individual color filter. The primary color type individual color filter allows light of a corresponding primary color to permeate. The primary color type individual color filter has a first given transmittance for one of other primary colors other than the corresponding primary color, at which one of the other primary colors permeates the primary color type individual color filter. The first given transmittance is higher than a lower limit of a transmittance improving a sensitivity of the image sensor.

Abstract: A heat transfer medium is used for a heat transfer system including a refrigerant cycle device through which a refrigerant circulates and a heat transfer medium circuit having an electric device. The medium includes an anhydrous liquid that does not contain water and is made of a substance having a polarity less than water. The anhydrous liquid is cooled by heat exchange with the refrigerant and absorbs heat from the electric device while circulating through the heat transfer medium circuit. Accordingly, the low viscosity of the heat transfer medium at a low temperature can be secured. Further, by using an anhydrous liquid without water as the heat transfer medium, it is possible to suppress an increase in an electrical conductivity of the heat transfer medium over time.

Abstract: A heat exchanger having a polyamine on at least part of a surface of the heat exchanger. The existence of polyamine on the surface of the heat exchanger allows the odor components to be temporality held by virtue of the action of polyamine, and the odor components are not released into an interior room or the like at once in conjunction with the evaporation of free water (such as condensed water). Thus, the release of odor components is made moderate, and changes in the concentration of odor components in the interior room are reduced, so that strong odors sensed by people are suppressed. A typical example of the polyamine is PEI, and a typical example of the heat exchanger is an evaporator used in a car air-conditioner.

Abstract: The in-vehicle camera includes an image sensor, a shutter, an image processing unit, and an exposure control unit. The image sensor includes multiple pixels to collect optical information. The shutter is a front curtain electronic type that includes a front curtain of an electronic type and a rear curtain of any type. An electronic controller starts collection of optical information in each pixel thereby opening the shutter. The image processing unit generates an image based on the optical information as collected. The exposure control unit controls the shutter to allow shutter times, during which the shutter is open for first and second image sensor areas obtained by dividing pixels P of the image sensor 15 into multiple areas, to be different from each other.

Abstract: An imaging control apparatus is configured to detect a first object and a second object appearing on an image captured by a camera. The first object is higher in luminance than the second object. When the second object is not detected on the image, the imaging control apparatus works to adjusts an exposure time of the camera to a first exposure time which is used when the first object is detected. Alternatively. When the second object is detected, the imaging control apparatus adjusts the exposure time of the camera to a second exposure time which is longer than the first exposure time. This eliminates a failure in identifying colors on the image and also minimizes a risk of appearance of flicker on the image.
