    Abstract: A device controls a defogging unit of a vehicle to be driven in a driving mode corresponding to a self-driving degree indicating a degree of depending on a self-driving system for a driving operation, and the defogging unit defogs a window of the vehicle. The device includes: an identification unit that identifies the self-driving degree; and a control execution unit that controls the anti-fogging function exhibited by the defogging unit. The self-driving degree is defined as exhibiting a higher value as the degree of depending on the self-driving system for the driving operation is larger. When the self-driving degree identified by the identification unit is a second value higher than a first value, the control execution unit controls the anti-fogging function executed by the defogging unit to be lower than that when the self-driving degree identified by the identification unit is the first value.

    Abstract: A vehicular air-conditioning unit has an air-conditioning case, a first ventilation passage and a second ventilation passage, a first communication-ventilation passage defined in the air-conditioning case, the first communication-ventilation passage through which one end of the first ventilation passage communicates with one end of the second ventilation passage, a first heat exchanger that heats or cools air flowing in the first ventilation passage, a second heat exchanger that heats or cools air flowing in the second ventilation passage, and a blowing mode switching device setting any one of blowing modes. The blowing modes include (i) a first blowing mode in which air is blown into a vehicle compartment after flowing through the first ventilation passage and in which air is blown into the vehicle compartment after flowing through the second ventilation passage and (ii) a second blowing mode in which air flows into the second ventilation passage through the first communication-ventilation passage after flowing through the first ventilation passage and is blown into the vehicle compartment.

The rotational direction of the blower fan is set so that each of the plurality of blades of the blower fan passes through the first inside air space, the first outside air space, the second outside air space, and the second inside air space in this order when the plurality of blade are rotating.

    Abstract: A vehicle air-conditioning unit includes an air-conditioning case and an inside/outside air switching door that is configured to change a ratio of a flow rate of an inside air to a flow rate of an outside air in an air introduced into the air-conditioning case. The vehicle air-conditioning unit includes a cooler that is disposed in the air-conditioning case, and a blower that is located downstream of the cooler and sends the air to a vehicle compartment. The air-conditioning case includes a drain pipe located downstream of the cooler, the drain pipe having a tube shape through which a condensed water generated on the cooler is drained out of the air-conditioning case. The cooler is located on an extended line of a centerline of the drain pipe such that a suction air drawn through the drain pipe into the air-conditioning case flows along the cooler.

    Abstract: An air conditioning device includes a casing that provides multiple air passages, a blower fan that suctions an air from the multiple air passages and blows out the air in the casing, a suction side partitioning member that is disposed on a suction side of the blower fan in the casing and separates air flows from the multiple air passages from each other, and a blowing side partitioning member that is disposed on a blowing side of the blower fan in the casing and separates the air flows from the multiple air passages from each other. The suction side partitioning member and the blowing side partitioning member are disposed so that a relative position of the blowing side partitioning member to the suction side partitioning member is deviated in a rotation direction of the blower fan.
