Abstract: In a display-object information displaying apparatus, each display object predetermined as a detection target is detected from image data captured by a front capture apparatus to capture of the front of a vehicle. A recognition failure probability that the driver fails to recognize each display object is evaluated. A memory saves the recognition failure probability and display object data containing display-object information with respect to each display object. A display unit displays the display-object information based on the corresponding display object data saved in the memory with respect to each display object. The display-object information about the display object assigned the higher recognition failure probability is displayed preferentially among the display objects corresponding to the display object data saved in the memory.

Abstract: In a vehicle, positional information of the vehicle and status determination information are serially acquired. Each time a user speaks a speech, speech data is acquired. A storage section stores the acquired speech data, and the positional information and status determination information acquired when the speech data is acquired, in association in a memory, as stored speech data, stored positional information, and stored status determination information. For each stored speech data in the memory, a determination is made whether a first status indicated by the stored positional information and stored status determination information associated with the stored speech data is similar to a second status indicated by the positional information and status determination information newly acquired at a current time. A reporting processor reports, to a driver, information based on the stored speech data when the determination is affirmed.

Abstract: A human machine interface is configured to select an information display destination from among a plurality of display areas. The HCU acquires a sight line direction of a driver based on an image of an in-vehicle camera. The HCU displays, upon detecting a hop-off action of the driver based on an output signal of an in-vehicle sensor in a situation in which an attention target event such as a puddle, a step, other vehicle or the like exists on a road surface near a door of a driver's seat, in the display area corresponding to the driver's sight line direction, text or an image practically indicating (a) a content of an attention target event or (b) how to deal with a situation.

Abstract: A driving assistance apparatus includes an arrangement memory that stores a past captured image around a target parking region, a captured image acquisition section that acquires a present captured image around the target parking region at parking or departing with respect to the target parking region, and an obstacle specification section that specifies a non-stationary obstacle around the target parking region, based on a difference between the past captured image stored in the arrangement memory, and the present captured image acquired by the arrangement acquisition section.
