摘要: The present disclosure describes filter devices for deployment to body vessels where clots or emboli may need to be captured, particularly the vena cava. The filter device is of a spiral construction, having a first loop and a second loop, with a helical portion extending helically therebetween. The first and second loops assist in the filter being self-centering within a body vessel. A method of making a filter device is also disclosed.

The locking member is connected to the elongate handle body and movable between a locked position and unlocked position. The locking member may be in contact with the actuation button and be configured to restrict the movement of the actuation button along the longitudinal axis when in the locked position.

摘要: Described are a multipurpose handles that can be incorporated into medical device delivery systems. Also described are medical devices, including medical snare devices, that can incorporate the handles or features thereof. An actuation button of the multipurpose handle can be moved longitudinally to move a device portion (e.g. snare loop) longitudinally, e.g. for deployment or retraction. The actuation button can also be rotated to rotate a device portion (e.g. snare loop). Sealing arrangements can be provided and can provide sealing functions in respect of a controlled medical device structure while the actuation button is moved longitudinally or rotated. Methods of using the handles and medical snare or other devices incorporating them are also described.
