The method may comprise analyzing network utilization data from a network segment of the network. The network utilization data may be collected over a first duration. The method may further comprise of determining, from the network utilization data, a baseline network utilization. The baseline network utilization may be a persistent quantification of network utilization present throughout the first duration.     Abstract: Disclosed are systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer-readable media for adaptive transmit power control threshold recommendations in wireless networks. A method includes: retrieving network usage information from APs associated with a location, wherein the network usage information identifies network consumption information of each wireless device connected to that AP, non-period events, and interrupts, wherein the network usage information from a first AP includes a path loss associated with messages from neighboring APs; determining first TPCs for each AP of the APs associated with the location based on path losses between each AP; simulating network performance using the first TPCs and the network usage information; and measuring network performance information associated at each AP based on the simulation of the network performance; and determining second TPCs for each AP of the APs associated with the location based on the network information.

    Abstract: In one aspect, a method of access point (AP) discovery, by a network controller is disclosed. The method includes receiving, AP configuration information for a plurality of potential neighboring APs. The method includes storing the AP configuration information for the plurality of potential neighboring APs in a neighbor discovery profile. The method includes identifying an inconsistent AP in the neighbor discovery profile, the inconsistent AP identified as undetected by the network controller during one or more of the plurality of times. The method includes determining whether the inconsistent AP should be considered a neighboring AP based on how often the inconsistent AP appears in the neighbor discovery profile.     Abstract: Disclosed are systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer-readable media for adaptive preferred scan channels in wireless networks. A method includes: retrieving previous client device information connected to at least one access point (AP), analyzing the previous client device information for at least one property associated with wireless network usage of the at least one AP; and determining whether to configure preferred scan channels with additional channels based on the at least one property associated with the wireless network. Adding preferred scan channels to the default configuration can benefit wireless network performance.
