摘要: Methods and systems are described herein for locally deactivating transaction cards to prevent offline transactions. A processor associated with the transaction card may be used in the process to locally deactivate transaction cards. The processor on the transaction card may receive a signal from a transaction terminal requesting a connection with the transaction card and may establish a connection with the transaction terminal. The processor may an indication to deactivate the transaction card and in response to receiving the indication apply an electric current to a stripe deactivating element that deactivates at least a portion of one or more tracks of a stripe on the transaction card and cause, via a built-in circuit, a predetermined increase in the electric current to the processor that causes a pathway that enables power distribution to the processor to be destroyed.

For instance, a request for an instrument to complete an interaction may be received from an account holder computing device, information associated with the request may be stored within a data storage entry, and a code including a uniform resource locator to a web application may be printed on the instrument. Subsequent to a printing of the instrument that includes the code, an access to the web application by a computing device of a recipient or an entity associated with the recipient of the instrument may be detected in response to the computing device reading the code. A legitimacy of the interaction may be determined by evaluating a plurality of interaction legitimacy factors based, at least in part, on the data storage entry, and an indication of the determined legitimacy may be provided for display via the web application.

摘要: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments a dual-core automated teller machine (ATM). The dual core ATM system and method includes two physical central processing units (“computing devices” or “cores”) that are configured to perform operations in coordination with peripheral devices. Peripheral devices of the dual-core ATM system can include a peripheral screen, such as a touch screen, a card reader, a PIN pad (e.g., an encrypted pin pad or “EPP”), a cash dispenser, and a cash deposit module. A peripheral switch can isolate one of the computing devices from the one or more peripheral devices and that can permit the other of the computing devices to control the one or more peripheral devices. By maintaining redundant hardware sets within the ATM enclosure, the system can avoid a necessary reboot or powering-off in the event of, for example, a software failure.

For example, processor(s) of a computer system may receive information for the document from a computing device through a network, verify the information for the document, and upon verification, generate document generation data using at least a portion of the information for the document. Upon the processor(s) verifying first authentication information of a first code associated with a printing device received from the computing device through the network and second authentication information of a second code associated with the computing device received from the printing device through the network, the processor(s) may transmit the document generation data to the printing device through the network, and cause the printing device to print the image of the document.
