摘要: Methods and systems are described herein for locally deactivating transaction cards to prevent offline transactions. A processor associated with the transaction card may be used in the process to locally deactivate transaction cards. The processor on the transaction card may receive a signal from a transaction terminal requesting a connection with the transaction card and may establish a connection with the transaction terminal. The processor may an indication to deactivate the transaction card and in response to receiving the indication apply an electric current to a stripe deactivating element that deactivates at least a portion of one or more tracks of a stripe on the transaction card and cause, via a built-in circuit, a predetermined increase in the electric current to the processor that causes a pathway that enables power distribution to the processor to be destroyed.

摘要: In some embodiments, an authentication system may be configured to process one or more tokens that incorporates one or more tailored-wavelength-range coded patterns, codes represented within a steganographic image, or “overlapping” codes. As an example, such a token may include (i) one or more invisible-ink-printed patterns printed using infrared ink corresponding to different tailored wavelength ranges within the infrared light spectrum, (ii) one or more steganographic images in which invisible-ink-printed patterns are interweaved within the steganographic images, (iii) visible-ink-printed patterns and invisible-ink-printed patterns printed substantially within the visible ink portions of the visible-ink-printed patterns, or (iv) other features, where the invisible-ink-printed patterns correspond to one or more authentication codes or other data for token authentication.

摘要: Disclosed are methods and systems for determining legitimacy of interactions. For instance, a request for an instrument to complete an interaction may be received from an account holder computing device, information associated with the request may be stored within a data storage entry, and a code including a uniform resource locator to a web application may be printed on the instrument. Subsequent to a printing of the instrument that includes the code, an access to the web application by a computing device of a recipient or an entity associated with the recipient of the instrument may be detected in response to the computing device reading the code. A legitimacy of the interaction may be determined by evaluating a plurality of interaction legitimacy factors based, at least in part, on the data storage entry, and an indication of the determined legitimacy may be provided for display via the web application.

摘要: Securing printing systems and methods include a printer with a controller coupled to a memory and configured to perform a printer operation. The printer controller receives an instruction comprising a first font element and a second font element. An identifier corresponding to the second font element is retrieved from a memory. The printer generates and prints a graphical character that based on the first font element and an augmented symbol corresponding to the identifier.

摘要: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments a dual-core automated teller machine (ATM). The dual core ATM system and method includes two physical central processing units (“computing devices” or “cores”) that are configured to perform operations in coordination with peripheral devices. Peripheral devices of the dual-core ATM system can include a peripheral screen, such as a touch screen, a card reader, a PIN pad (e.g., an encrypted pin pad or “EPP”), a cash dispenser, and a cash deposit module. A peripheral switch can isolate one of the computing devices from the one or more peripheral devices and that can permit the other of the computing devices to control the one or more peripheral devices. By maintaining redundant hardware sets within the ATM enclosure, the system can avoid a necessary reboot or powering-off in the event of, for example, a software failure.

摘要: A device may detect, in a field of view of a camera, one or more components of an automated teller machine (ATM) device using a computer vision technique based on generating a three dimensional model of the one or more components. The device may identify the ATM device as a particular device or as a particular type of device based on the one or more components of the ATM device, or first information related to the ATM device. The device may identify a set of tasks to be performed with respect to the ATM device. The device may provide, for display via a display associated with the device, second information associated with the set of tasks as an augmented reality overlay. The device may perform an action related to the set of tasks, the ATM device, or the augmented reality overlay.

摘要: An example laser assembly for a laser printer may include a plurality of lasers to emit respective photons; a prism to redirect the respective laser beams emitted from the plurality of lasers toward a collimator lens of the laser printer to generate a photon beam; and one or more processors to: determine a timing schedule for individually activating the plurality of lasers based on a resolution setting of the laser printer, and when printing at a resolution corresponding to the resolution setting, control activation of each of the plurality of lasers to emit the respective photons according to the timing schedule to form the photon beam.
