    摘要: Embodiments for a capacitive sensing apparatus with attenuated electrical interference across a plurality of routing traces are provided. One embodiment forms a first sensor electrode on a substrate. In addition, a first routing trace is formed on the substrate, the first routing trace coupled with the first sensor electrode. One embodiment additionally forms a second sensor electrode on the substrate. A second routing trace differing in length from the first routing trace is also formed on the substrate, the second routing trace coupled with the second sensor electrode. To attenuate electrical interference, the second routing trace is formed having an approximately equal RC time constant characteristic as the first routing trace.

    摘要: An electronically-active vehicle gear-shift knob (10) consisting of a hand-grasping section (12), an electronics enclosure (44) that is attached to an upper edge (14) of the hand-grasping section (12), and an electronics control circuit (90) consisting of a transmitting circuit (92) and a remotely located receiving circuit (94). The enclosure (44) includes a set of four pushbutton switches (92E) that are connected to the transmitting circuit (92). The closure of any one of the pushbutton switches (92E) allows the transmitting circuit (92) to produce an RF output signal (19) that is radiated via an antenna (92H) to the receiving circuit (94). The receiving circuit (94) subsequently processes the RF output signal (19) and produces an output control signal (29) that energizes an LED light corresponding to the specific pushbutton switch (92E)that has been closed.

    摘要: A vehicle head light or auxiliary light assembly (10) that includes an inner housing (12) and an outer housing (30), wherein located between the inner and outer housings (12,30) is a light passage channel (46). At the center of the inner housing (12) is attached a central light bulb (28), and to each side of the outer housing (30) is attached a side light bulb (52). To the front of the outer housing (30) is attached a front lens (56) having around its perimeter (60) a plurality of light refracting serrations (62). When the lights of the assembly (10) are turned on by an electrical control circuit (70), the central light (28) illuminates in combination with the side lights (52). The side lights produce a light beam that is applied through the light passage channel (46), is refracted along the serrations (62) and is visible along the inner perimeter (60) of the front lens (56). The electrical control circuit (70) can also be designed to allow the central light bulb (28) to be operated independently from the side lights (52).

    摘要: A vehicle wheel cover (10) having a design (36) which replicates the intrinsic design (20) of a vehicle wheel (12), and which includes a central aperture (38) which encompasses a set of lug nuts located on the vehicle wheel (12). The wheel cover (10) also includes a plurality of spaced wheel cover fasteners (44). When the wheel cover (10) is pressed against the vehicle wheel (12) the wheel cover fasteners (44) clip onto a peripheral edge (14) on the vehicle wheel (12) to securely hold the wheel cover (10) to the vehicle wheel (12). When the wheel cover (10) is attached, the vehicle wheel simulates the appearance of a solid, chrome plated vehicle wheel.
