    摘要： A container which has a plastic cutting strip is described wherein the edge of the cutting strip is preferably serrated and the strip is adhered to the container throughout the length of the strip. An apparatus is also described for applying the strip to containers using a continuous length of strip wherein serrating means are mounted on the apparatus for serrating an edge of the strip and cutting and applying means for applying the strip to the container blank is mounted over a conveyor table downstream of a hot melt extruder providing hot melt adhesive on the container blank.
