Abstract: An electrochemical energy storage apparatus and a device are provided. The electrochemical energy storage apparatus includes a positive electrode plate, a negative electrode plate, a separator, and an electrolyte, where the positive electrode plate includes a positive electrode current collector, a positive electrode active substance layer disposed on at least one surface of the positive electrode current collector, and a safety layer disposed between the positive electrode active substance layer and the positive electrode current collector; the positive electrode active substance layer includes a positive electrode active substance; the safety layer includes a binding substance, a conductive substance, and an overcharge sensitive substance; the overcharge sensitive substance is a polymer containing monosaccharide structural units and containing at least one of carbonate groups or phosphate groups; the electrolyte includes a solvent and an electrolytic salt; and the solvent includes a carbonate-based solvent.

Abstract: This application provides a positive electrode plate and an electrochemical apparatus containing such positive electrode plate. The positive electrode plate includes a positive electrode current collector, a positive electrode active material layer disposed on at least one surface of the positive electrode current collector, and a safety layer disposed between the positive electrode active material layer and the positive electrode current collector. The safety layer includes a binding substance, a conductive substance, and a special sensitive substance. Each molecule of the special sensitive substance includes monosaccharide structural units, and carbonate groups and/or phosphate groups; and at least part of the carbonate groups and/or phosphate groups are bonded to two or more of the monosaccharide structural units. The electrochemical apparatus prepared by using the positive electrode plate of this application has significantly improved safety and electrical performance (such as cycling performance).

Abstract: This application provides a positive electrode plate and an electrochemical apparatus and device associated therewith. The positive electrode plate includes a positive electrode current collector, a positive electrode active material layer disposed on at least one surface of the positive electrode current collector, and a safety layer disposed between the positive electrode active material layer and the positive electrode current collector. The safety layer includes a binding substance, a conductive substance, and a special sensitive substance, where the special sensitive substance is at least one product of esterification of polysaccharide in which a degree of esterification of monosaccharide units is 35% to 98%. The electrochemical apparatus prepared by using the positive electrode plate of this application has significantly improved safety and electrical performance (such as cycling performance).

Abstract: This application provides a binder and a separator containing same, an electrode plate, and a related secondary battery, a battery module, a battery pack, and an electrical device. The binder includes an organic polymer and an inorganic compound. The organic polymer is polymerized from a first polymerizing monomer containing an ester bond, a second polymerizing monomer containing a nitrile bond, and a third polymerizing monomer containing an amide bond. A weight ratio between the first polymerizing monomer, the second polymerizing monomer, and the third polymerizing monomer is 1:(0 to 0.8):(0 to 0.15), and optionally 1:(0.05 to 0.2):(0.05 to 0.1). When the binder is applied to the separator, the resistance of the separator is reduced, the ionic conductivity of the separator is improved, and the battery performance is improved.
