The battery cell includes: a shell, including a first wall provided with a medium injection hole; an electrode assembly, disposed inside the shell; and an insulating member, disposed between the first wall and the electrode assembly to insulate and isolate the first wall and the electrode assembly, where a guide structure is disposed on a side, facing the first wall, of the insulating member, and the guide structure is configured to guide a medium injected from the medium injection hole to an edge of the insulating member, so that the medium enters the interior of the battery cell from the edge of the insulating member.

摘要: An end cover assembly includes an end cover and a pressure relief member. The pressure relief member is provided in the end cover, and the pressure relief member is provided with an indentation groove. The pressure relief member is configured to crack along the indentation groove to release internal pressure of a battery cell when internal pressure or temperature of the battery cell reaches a threshold. Hardness of the pressure relief member is lower than hardness of the end cover.

摘要: The present application provides an end cover assembly used for a battery cell. The end cover assembly includes: an end cover; a pressure relief mechanism arranged on the end cover and including a weak portion, the pressure relief mechanism being configured to rupture along the weak portion to release the pressure inside the battery cell when the pressure reaches a threshold; and an insulating member located on one side of the end cover facing an electrode assembly of the battery cell and including a base portion connected to the end cover and a guide portion arranged on the base portion communicating the space between the base portion and the pressure relief mechanism with the space on one side of the base portion facing away from the weak portion. In a thickness direction of the end cover, a projection of the guide portion does not overlap with a projection of the weak portion.

The battery box includes: a first wall and a second wall, the first wall intersecting the second wall; and a pressure relief mechanism including a first portion and a second portion connected to each other, the first portion and the second portion being respectively arranged at the first wall and the second wall, wherein the first portion and/or the second portion are/is configured to be able to fracture, when an internal pressure of the battery box reaches a threshold, to relieve the internal pressure. Therefore, according to the battery box, the battery cell, the battery, and the method and apparatus for preparing the battery box of embodiments of the present application, thereby the performance of the pressure relief mechanism on the battery box is improved.

The pressure relief groove is provided in the cap body, and the pressure relief groove defines a pressure relief zone. A length direction of the pressure relief zone is consistent with a width direction of the cap body. The end cap has a stress concentration region at a short edge of the pressure relief groove when the inner side of the end cap is subjected to the pressure inside the battery cell, and the end cap has a stress concentration region at a long edge of the pressure relief groove when the outer side of the end cap is subjected to an impact force.
