Abstract: A process for concentrating wet-process phosphoric acid by passing an alternating current between non-reactive, e.g. graphite, electrodes through an aqueous solution of wet-process phosphoric acid at an electrode surface current density in the range of about 5 to about 20 amperes per square inch, preferably about 7 to 15 amperes per square inch.
