Abstract: A stable preparation of reaction products is provided which is prepared by first reacting a liquid polyglycidyl ether of a polyphenol with an aliphatic di-primary diamine and thereafter further reacting the resulting adduct with an epoxy compound. The ratio of epoxide group equivalents to amino group equivalents in the first stage is 1:3 to 5.5 and in the second stage 1:2 to 5. The preparations are useful in the textile industry e.g. for rendering wool non-felting. Especially suitable are the preparations when applied in combination with a dyeing process.
