摘要: A communication system includes a wireless base station and a channel allocation management resource. The wireless base station receives allocation of a first wireless channel from a communication management resource. Via the first wireless channel, the wireless base station establishes a first communication layer in which to communicate with first wireless communication devices using the allocated first wireless channel. The wireless base station establishes a second communication layer in which to communicate with second wireless communication devices using the allocated first wireless channel. Via the first communication layer and the second communication layer, the wireless base station provides the first wireless communication devices and that the second wireless communication devices access to a respective remote network.

摘要: According to one configuration, a communication management resource in a wireless network environment records a location of a wireless base station. The communication management resource then defines a region of wireless coverage provided by the wireless base station based on feedback received from the wireless base station. For example, in one arrangement, the user equipment provides performance metrics to the wireless base station. The wireless base station uses the performance metrics to determine boundaries associated with a region of wireless coverage provided by the wireless base station. The wireless base station communicates the boundary information to the communication management resource. Subsequent to identifying the location of the wireless base station and defining the determined region of wireless coverage associated with the wireless base station, the communication management resource then controls allocation of wireless bandwidth in a vicinity of the region of wireless coverage to protect the wireless base station from interference.

摘要: A communication management resource detects or anticipates occurrence of wireless interference on a wireless channel allocated to a wireless base station to communicate with multiple communication devices. In response to the detected wireless interference, the communication management resource determines a group of the multiple communication devices receiving data of a particular type from the wireless base station. To reduce the wireless interference, the wireless base station notifies the communication devices in the group to operate in a device-to-device communication mode as an alternative path of conveying the particular type of data to the group of communication devices. Thus, during times of wireless interference, instead of communicating a message to each of the wireless communication device in the group, the wireless base station communicates a wireless communication to a first communication device in the group; the first communication device forwards the communication to a second communication device in the group.

摘要: A communication management resource partitions allocated wireless bandwidth into a first portion (such as first virtual bandwidth or first bandwidth part) and a second portion (such as virtual bandwidth or second bandwidth part). The communication management resource determines wireless interference associated with transmission of first wireless communications over the different bandwidth portions such as from a wireless base station to multiple communication devices while in a first mode. Depending on the wireless interference determined during the first mode, the communication management resource controls conveyance of second wireless communications over the allocated wireless bandwidth to the multiple communication devices in a second mode. In one instance, the communication management system operates one or more communication devices in a device-to-device mode to alleviate wireless interference associated with use of the allocated wireless bandwidth.

摘要: A gateway communication resource provides access to a remote network over a communication link. For example, a communication management resource (such as in a subscriber domain) receives log information associated with the gateway communication resource. The log information indicates an operational status of the gateway communication resource. The communication management resource also receives performance threshold information in which to analyze performance of the communication resource. Via application of the performance threshold information to the log information, the communication management resource generates a performance report indicative of a performance status of the gateway communication resource communicating over the communication link.

摘要: A communication system includes a control wireless station. One or more data payload-conveying wireless stations rely on the control wireless station to provide control information to a mobile communication device to control conveyance of data over one or more data channels to the mobile communication device. For example, to connect to a remote network, a mobile communication device establishes a first wireless communication link with the control wireless station. The mobile communication device establishes a second wireless communication link with a data conveying wireless station. The first wireless link conveys control information from the control wireless station to the mobile communication device. The second wireless link conveys data payload information. The control information conveyed over the first wireless link controls conveyance of the data payload information over the second wireless communication link.
