摘要: A printing apparatus includes an image processing unit and generates a product by performing printing on a print medium conveyed in a conveyance direction intersecting a width direction, based on data for printing, and then cutting a width-direction end portion of a printed image, wherein the image processing unit calculates a first ink application amount of a first area formed at one end portion in the width direction on a leading edge side of the image which is located on a downstream side in the conveyance direction during printing and a second ink application amount of a second area formed at the other end in the width direction on the leading edge and enlarges the image data at a predetermined ratio to obtain the data for printing in a case where at least one of the first ink application amount and the second ink application amount exceeds a threshold value.

摘要: An image capturing apparatus comprises an image sensor in which a plurality of pixels are arranged, wherein the plurality of pixels output focus detection signals based on light flux that has passed through an imaging optical system, a shifting unit that shifts an incident position of the light flux on the image sensor; and a focus detection unit that performs focus detection using the focus detection signals. The shifting unit shifts the incident position by a predetermined distance which is equal to or less than a distance between the pixels of the image sensor corresponding to the focus detection signals during a charge accumulation period in the image sensor for acquiring the focus detection signals.

The first correction unit moves an optical element. The second correction unit moves a sensor. The selection unit selects a first mode if the focal length is a first value, and selects a second mode if the focal length is a second value larger than the first value. With the first mode selected, if a shake amount is a threshold or less, the first correction unit is driven based on the shake amount, and if the shake amount is larger than the threshold, the correction units are driven based on the shake amount. With the second mode selected, the correction units are driven based on the shake amount and a drive ratio.

摘要: The imaging device includes a first pixel group and a second pixel group that include a plurality of pixels each having a plurality of photoelectric conversion portions that are separated by an isolation portion and arranged in a first direction and a plurality of transfer gates that transfer charges of the plurality of photoelectric conversion portions. A position of at least a part of the isolation portion within each of the pixels of the first pixel group and a position of at least a part of the isolation portion within each of the pixels of the second pixel group are shifted relative to each other in the first direction. In this focus detection mode, the focus detection is carried out on the basis of a frequency component extracted from an image signal to which a coefficient for correcting intensity differences between color components is not applied, or to which a coefficient having a lower difference among color components than the computed coefficient has been applied.
