    Abstract: An image capturing apparatus equipped with a function of performing image stabilization by moving an image capturing section (image sensor) and capable of effectively cooling the image sensor without increasing the size of the apparatus. The apparatus includes an image sensor board on which the image sensor is mounted, an image stabilization mechanism for performing image stabilization by moving the image sensor board, a first duct having an air flow passage and movable, a second duct having an air flow passage and fixedly disposed and connected to the first duct, and a cooling fan for causing outside air to flow through the first duct and the second duct. The image sensor board is held on the first duct.

A lens mount is provided on the apparatus body and can have a shooting lens removably attached thereto. An attachment portion is provided on the apparatus body and can have the accessory removably attached thereto. A built-in microphone is arranged on a side of a surface of the apparatus body, different from any of a surface where an air outlet port for discharging air used for forced cooling is arranged, a surface where the lens mount is arranged, and a surface where the attachment portion is arranged. The built-in microphone is arranged at a location closer to a top surface of the image capturing apparatus body than a bottom surface thereof.

    Abstract: An electronic apparatus that is capable of cooling heat sources efficiently by taking in outside air through intake ports effectively while reducing the number of components. The electronic apparatus obtains an image signal corresponding to an optical image formed through an image pickup lens. A first heat generating element is implemented in a first substrate. A second heat generating element is implemented in a second substrate. A first duct is connected to the first heat generating element at a position nearer to an exhaust port formed in a housing of the electronic apparatus than a first blower that sends air to the first duct. A second duct is connected to the second heat generating element at a position nearer to the exhaust port than a second blower that sends air to the second duct.

    Abstract: An image capturing apparatus includes an image sensor unit including an image sensor board on which an image sensor is mounted, a first drive mechanism that drives the image sensor unit in a first direction orthogonal to an optical axis of the image sensor, a second drive mechanism that drives the unit in a second direction orthogonal to the optical axis and different from the first direction, and a first duct disposed on an opposite side of the board to a surface on which the sensor is mounted, in a state opposed to the board, to allow cooling air to pass therethrough. The first duct has an air suction port and an air discharge port. When viewed from the optical axis direction, the first drive mechanism, the second drive mechanism, the air suction port, and the air discharge port do not overlap around the image sensor.
