摘要: The photoelectric conversion device includes pixels arranged in a plurality of columns, a plurality of output lines from which signals are output from the pixels, and a plurality of column circuits provided corresponding to the plurality of output lines. The column circuit includes first and second sample-and-hold circuits for holding first and second signals. The sample-and-hold circuits include first switches provided between the output line and each unit capacitor, and second switches provided between first electrodes of adjacent unit capacitors. The second electrodes of the unit capacitor of the first sample-and-hold circuit are connected to each other by a first interconnection, and the second electrodes of the unit capacitor of the second sample-and-hold circuit are connected to each other by a second interconnection. The second switches are arranged along a first direction parallel to the plurality of columns, and the first and second interconnections extend along the first direction.

摘要: A photoelectric conversion apparatus includes a light receiving circuit configured to convert light into an electrical signal, a readout circuit configured to read out an analog signal corresponding to the electrical signal, a ΔΣ A/D converter configured to convert the analog signal into a digital signal, and a control circuit configured to change a gain of the photoelectric conversion apparatus in accordance with a change of a driving mode of the photoelectric conversion apparatus. The analog signal read out by the readout circuit is an analog current signal. The readout circuit includes a variable resistor on a signal path for supplying the analog current signal to the ΔΣ A/D converter. The control circuit changes the gain of the photoelectric conversion apparatus by changing a resistance value of the variable resistor.

摘要: In order to provide an imaging device that includes an amplifier performing amplification with a plurality of gains for each signal from a pixel unit and can further reduce a noise component, an imaging device included in an imaging apparatus has the pixel unit in which unit pixels are arranged in a matrix and generates a signal voltage by photoelectric conversion. A column amplifier can amplify a photoelectrically converted signal with a plurality of gains. After an amplified signal is subjected to analog/digital conversion by a column ADC, a signal processing circuit subtracts a noise signal from a pixel signal. A noise signal read out after resetting a floating diffusion section included in the pixel unit and a pixel signal read out immediately thereafter are acquired by being multiplied by a first gain, and a pixel signal read out thereafter is acquired by being multiplied by a second gain. The first gain is set to a value larger than the second gain.

摘要: An exposure apparatus is provided. An illumination optical system in the apparatus includes a diffraction optical element, a condensing optical system a detector that detects a light beam that exited from the condensing optical system, and a first diaphragm that can be inserted/removed in/from a position near a predetermined plane in an optical path where the condensing optical system condenses a light beam. The first diaphragm has an opening diameter such that an output of the detector decreases when an incident angle of light from a light source on the diffraction optical element deviates from a target angle. Based on an output of the detector when the first diaphragm is inserted in the position and an output of the detector when the first diaphragm is retracted from the position, a controller performs a process of adjusting the incident angle.
