Abstract:
A data processing apparatus is configured to receive a selection of a first function and search for one or more devices which has the capability to perform that first function. The apparatus may then receive a selection of the one or more devices for performing that first function and, in conjunction, determine whether the selected device has the capability to execute a second function. The device identification data may be stored. Subsequently, if the selected device is determined to be capable of executing the second function, which is different from the first function selected, and the second function is further selected, the previously selected device may be displayed as having the capability to execute the selected second function. Otherwise, the apparatus does not display the previously selected device as being able to execute the selected second function.
Abstract:
After storing information of a device selected in a device selection operation as a device to execute a function indicated by a menu item selected in a first menu selection operation, a second menu selection operation is accepted. In a case where a function indicated by a menu item selected in the second menu selection operation is different from the function indicated by the menu item selected in the first menu selection operation, an instruction screen is displayed. The instruction screen includes: an image configured to accept an instruction operation to instruct execution of the function selected by the second menu selection operation; and information of a device candidate to execute the function indicated by the menu item selected by the second menu selection operation, the information of the device candidate including the information of the device selected in the device selection operation.
Abstract:
An information processing device is configured to execute a management program and a print server program. The management program determines whether a non-compliant printer is connected to the information processing device, determines whether a print server program is running when the non-compliant printer is connected, starts up the print server program when the print server program is not running, and registers a print server configured by the print server program with an operating system. The print server program receives a print job designating the print server as an output destination, obtains individual print data which is printable by the non-compliant printer, and transmits the obtained individual print data to the non-compliant printer.

Abstract:
A data processing apparatus is configured to: receive a selection of one of a first function and a second function other than the first function; store, if one device is selected, the selected one device in correlation with the first and second functions; and control a device to execute one of the first and second functions when an instruction to execute one of the first and second functions is received. If no device is stored in correlation with the one of the first and second functions, the selected one device executes the one of the first function and the second function. If another device has been stored in correlation with the one of the first and second functions, one of candidate devices executes the one of the first and the second functions. The candidate devices include the selected one device.

Abstract:
A signature system includes an applicant side device and an approver side device. A full-application is installed in the applicant side device, an applicant generate, using the full-application, an expense report in which a signature field and a mark for starting up a mini application is included and print the same using a printer. An approver receives the printed expense report read the mark included in the expense report using the approver side device, thereby downloads the mini application from a server and starts up the same. Then, the approver approves the expense report on the mini application.
Abstract:
In an information processing device, a controller displays a database image in a first display region on a display at a first display scale. The database image represents at least partial data included in a database. The controller receives a specific operation, and displays a partial enlarged image, in a second display region on the display at a second display scale greater than the first display scale in response to reception of the specific operation. The partial enlarged image corresponds to an extraction image in a partial extraction region in the database image and is an enlarged image of the extraction image so that the partial enlarged image is displayed in the second display region at the second display scale. The second display region overlaps at most a portion of the first display region. The controller generates print data including at least partial data included in the database.
Abstract:
A non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing computer readable instructions that are executable by a computer in an information processing apparatus having a communication interface, through which the information processing apparatus is connected with a printer, is provided. The information processing apparatus has a first channel and a second channel configured to cause the printer to print an image based on image data. The computer readable instructions, when executed by the computer, cause the computer to conduct a first printing control to cause the printer to print the image through the first channel, determine whether image printing to print the image by the printer under the first printing control failed, based on a determination that the image printing under the first printing control failed, conduct a second printing control to cause the printer to retry the image printing based on the image data through the second channel.
