摘要： Embodiments related to cryogenically ablating a vessel wall in a partial circumferential, non-continuous, or helical ablation pattern are disclosed. A catheter is disclosed that includes a cryoballoon for ablation of the vessel wall. A radially expandable insulative element is disposed over the cryoballoon to shield non-targeted tissue of the vessel wall from the cryoballoon and prevent ablation of the non-targeted tissue. Partial circumferential, non-continuous, and helical ablation can be effective for treating a variety of renal, cardio-renal, and other diseases including but not limited to hypertension, heart failure, renal disease, renal failure, contrast nephropathy, arrhythmia, and myocardial infarction. The insulative element may be, for example, a sheath component having opening(s) formed therethrough or may be an outer balloon within which the cryoballoon is disposed.

摘要： A client terminal for use in an electronic trading system and a method of operating such a system are disclosed. The terminal comprises: a data interface for sending data to and receiving data from a server; a user interface including a display for presenting information to a user and receiving trading commands from a user; and processing means for analysing data received from the server. It may, for example, be implemented in software executed on a personal computer. The processing means is operative to: calculate a bid strength being a weighted summation of current bids; calculate an offer strength being a weighted summation of current offers; and; generate on the display a graphical representation of the bid strength and the offer strength. The representation is intended to provide a quickly intelligible indication of the state of the market. For example, it may include bars (20, 22), the length of which indicates the result of the analysis. It may also include the results presented in FIGS. (24).

摘要： A pump assembly includes a housing and first and second valves. The housing has a fluid inlet port and a fluid outlet port. The first and second valves are substantially identical valves both including a mounting portion, a valve seat and a valve body. The mounting portion has a first end and a second opposite end. The first and second ends are both selectively mountable to a conduit defining a fluid path. The valve seat is interconnected to the mounting portion. The valve body is interconnected to at least one of the mounting portion and the valve seat for movement relative to the valve seat between a seated position and a closed position. The valve body includes a first side and a second side and is operative to seal against back flow from the first side and open to positive pressures on the second side. The first valve is mounted to the fluid inlet port with the first end such that the first valve normally functions to only permit fluid to flow into the housing. The second valve is mounted to the fluid outlet port with the second end such that the second valve normally functions to only permit fluid to flow out of the housing.

摘要： A mode selector for the pump assembly includes a first conduit defining a fluid inlet and a second conduit defining a fluid outlet. The first conduit associated with a first one-way valve and the second conduit is associated with a second one-way valve. The mode selector includes a first portion moveable between a first position and a second position, such that in the first position a fluid path extending through the first and second conduits is open and in the second position the first portion closes the fluid path. A second portion of the mode selector maintains one of the one-way valves in an open condition when the first portion is moved to the second position so as to avoid the creation of a vacuum.
