Abstract: The disclosure discloses a display panel and a display device and relates to the technical field of display. The display panel includes an array substrate and an opposite substrate that are subjected to cell docking, and sealing material provided between the array substrate and the opposite substrate and located in a peripheral area of the display panel, wherein the display panel further includes an optical part provided on a side of the sealing material close to the array substrate and/or the opposite substrate and configured to guide ultraviolet light having passed through the sealing material back into the sealing material. A height of the second dam is greater than a height of the first dam. The connection portion is located between the first dam and the second dam. The connection portion connects the first dam and the second dam, and a height of the connection portion is less than the height of the first dam. At least a portion of the first dam, at least a portion of the connection portion and at least a portion of the second dam are of an integrative structure.

Abstract: A method for displaying an image with a curved surface display effect is disclosed, which comprises: acquiring a position of a visual center point relative to a flat display panel; generating a curved surface based on the position, wherein a line between the visual center point and any point on the curved surface passes through a plane formed by the flat display panel, and intersects the curved surface once; generating a pixel grid on the curved surface based on resolution of the flat display panel; determining color information and luminance information of a pixel in the pixel grid; determining a valid pixel set in the flat display panel corresponding to the pixel grid; rendering the valid pixel set of the flat display panel based on the color information and the luminance information of the pixel grid.

Abstract: An optical collimation assembly, a backlight module and a display device are disclosed. The optical collimation assembly includes: a collimation film including a light incident surface and a light exiting surface; and a light modulation component, located on the light incident surface of the collimation film and includes a plurality of light modulation portions arranged in an array. Each of the plurality of light modulation portions includes: a first surface; a second surface; and a third surface intersecting both the first surface and the second surface, an included angle between the third surface and the first surface is an acute angle, wherein the third surface is configured to reflect light entering the light modulation portion from the second surface, such that the light being reflected exits from the collimation film along a direction substantially perpendicular to the light exiting surface.
