摘要： A tether system for providing power from a vehicle to a garment is presented. The system includes a tether having a first end and a second end, at least one electrical conductor operatively between the first and second ends, and an electrical contact at the second end, the tether being adapted for connecting to the garment at the first end; and a base adapted for mounting to the vehicle, the second end of the tether being selectively connected to the base, the base being adapted for selectively receiving the electrical contact and for providing power to the at least one electrical conductor of the tether via the electrical contact, the base, when mounted to the vehicle, being operative to stop propulsion of the vehicle when the tether is disconnected from the base.

摘要： A helmet has a helmet shell and a visor pivotally connected to the helmet shell. First and second helmet electrical contacts are attached at both sides of the helmet and are adapted for electrically connecting to an electrical power source. First and second visor electrical contacts are attached to each side of the visor. The first and second visor electrical contacts are in contact with the first and second helmet electrical contacts respectively, at at least one position of the pivoting visor. 摘要： A garment with electrical components is described. The garment comprises a garment body, a power management unit, at least one battery operatively connected to the power management unit, at least one electrical element operatively connected to the power management unit, the electrical element being connected to the at least one battery via the power management unit, and an electrical connection operatively connected to the power management unit for connecting the power management unit to a power supply external to the garment, the power management unit being operable to select between a distribution of power from at least the at least one electrical connection to at least one of the at least one electrical element and the at least one battery, and the at least one battery to the electrical element. A vehicle and garment system and a method for distributing power in a garment are also disclosed.
