摘要： Douglas Fir bark is extracted with a hot neutral organic solvent to separate the wax from the bark. Thereafter, the residue is heated to desolventize the same and expand the cork fraction substantially in size. Such facilitates efficient subsequent mechanical classification of the cork, bark fiber, and nonfibrous phloem fractions of the bark to a high degree of purity and quality.
