    Abstract: An embodiment of the invention provides a method for forming microcapsules for electrophoresis display by forming microcapsules through a complex coacervation reaction between a sulfonated styrene maleic anhydride copolymer and gelatin, wherein a mass ratio of the sulfonated styrene maleic anhydride copolymer to the gelatin is 1:10˜10:1. The method of the embodiment of the invention not only can obtain microcapsules with good sealability and stability, but also can obtain microcapsules having evenly distributed particle sizes and low cost.

    Abstract: A pigment dispersion and a method for preparing the same are provided. The pigment dispersion comprises the following components in the following mass percentage: 10%˜20% pigment, 1.5%˜12% dispersant, 0.75%˜7.5% binder resin, 58.5%˜87.3% solvent and 0.45%˜2% nonionic surfactant, based on the total mass of the pigment dispersion. The pigment dispersion is improved in stability, and is applicable to a colored filter.

    Abstract: Provided is a photosensitive alkali-soluble resin comprising a compound of formula (I), a method of preparing the same, and a color photosensitive resist containing the same, wherein n1, n2, R1, R2 and R3 are defined as herein. The photosensitive alkali-soluble resin is prepared by: copolymerizing ethylene oxide with α-hydroxyalkyl phenyl ketone to obtain the first intermediate product, followed by copolymerizing the first intermediate product with a copolymerization product of glycerin acrylate, styrene, and maleic anhydride to obtain the second intermediate product, and oxidizing the second intermediate product to produce the photosensitive alkali-soluble resin.
