Abstract: Disclosed are a display panel and a display apparatus. The display panel includes: a light-emitting base substrate comprising a plurality of light-emitting elements and configured to emit a first light; a color conversion substrate comprising a plurality of color conversion patterns, the color conversion pattern comprising a matrix material and quantum dots dispersed in the matrix material, wherein the matrix material is configured to excite a second light under irradiation of the first light, and the quantum dots are configured to emit light under irradiation of the first light and the second light. By exciting the quantum dots with the light emitted by the light-emitting elements and the light emitted by the matrix material, the luminous efficiency of the quantum dots can be improved and the power consumption can be reduced.

Abstract: A display panel having a plurality of subpixels is provided. A respective one of the plurality of light emitting elements includes a first light emitting layer and a second light emitting layer sequentially stacked. The first light emitting layer is configured to emit a first light of a first wavelength range. The second light emitting layer is configured to emit a second light of a second wavelength range. The plurality of light emitting elements are configured to respectively emit a composite light. The quantum dot blocks of different colors are configured to respectively convert the composite light into light of different colors respectively in different subpixels.
