    Abstract: A key telephone line circuit is disclosed having improved hold control features. The improved circuit is balanced against longitudinal-to-metallic noise conversion by an arrangement which divides the hold impedance equally between both conductors of the central office or PBX line, while still maintaining the line relay operable for detecting loop current. The new arrangement also contains a delay timer for maintaining the hold bridge operated during inadvertent central office loop open conditions. Circuitry is provided for immediately releasing the hold bridge when the subscriber returns from a held condition.

    Abstract: The introduction of single wall domains (magnetic bubbles) into coded positions of a pair of domain recirculating loops enables the provision of control signals at anyone of a number of possible time slots with relatively few external wiring connections. The transfer of a domain from each loop of the pair to a control loop responsive to the presence of a domain in a reference stage in each loop permits the formation of a twobubble code in the control loop for determining the timing of the signals. The three loops define a practical translator which can be integrated into a single domain chip.

    Abstract: If first and second noncoherent signals are combined in any simple hybrid network for application, for example, to a common antenna, each signal suffers a 3 dB loss. Furthermore, no simple phasing network suffices to obtain coherency if the signals are in nonoverlapping frequency bands. The present invention combines such signals by a network of hybrids and reflective reactive circuits that form third and fourth sum signals from the first and second. The resulting signals are now coherent and can be combined without loss. The reflective reactive circuit introduces a properly nonlinear phase characteristic that enhances the bandwidth over which the desired addition can be made.

    Abstract: A magnetic arrangement for transferring a single-wall domain in a layer of magnetic material from one closed loop to another, both defined by magnetically soft elements includes a transfer conductor oriented to supply fields operative both to move a domain from its present position in one loop into a transfer region and to eliminate the attracting field generated in the next normal position for the domain in response to a magnetic field reorienting in the plane of the layer. The position to which the domain is moved in the transfer region is defined by a magnetically soft guide element.
