Abstract: Oxygen to be administered to a patient is humidified by passing the oxygen through a standard water-containing solution bottle. A coupling assembly having an inlet tube and an outlet tube is inserted into the two openings defined by the stopper of the intravenous solution bottle, and is coupled to an oxygen supply. The connector assembly is capable of supporting the bottle, and carries a humidified oxygen outlet to which an oxygen administration device is coupled.
