Abstract: Lipolytic enzyme is selectively and quantitatively recovered from the fermentation growth product of Mucor species by adsorption with diatomaceous earth or clays at relatively low pH followed by elution of the lipolytic enzyme from the adsorbent by adjustment to relatively high pH.
