    摘要: The present invention concerns a method for improving plant growth characteristics by modulating expression of a nucleic acid encoding a PRE-like (Paclobutrazol REsistance) polypeptide. The invention also concerns a method for altering the ratio of roots to shoots in plants by modulating expression of a nucleic acid encoding a Sister of FT protein or a homologue thereof.
