Abstract: An oven includes a compartment enclosed on all sides and defining an interior therein, a heating element operable to heat air within the interior of compartment, and a fan disposed in fluid communication with the interior of the compartment. The fan is operable to cause air to flow across the heating element and toward the front region of the compartment. The oven includes a plurality of profile elements disposed on a panel at the front region of the compartment. The profile elements are structurally configured to direct air received at the panel from the fan back toward the fan through the interior of the oven in a more uniform spatial distribution than would result from a flat panel.
