Abstract:
A system and method are provided for unloading trays loaded with articles using a first supply conveyor on which trays to be unloaded are delivered. The trays include a frame with a peripheral raised edge and a base having at least one aperture and a transport plate for the articles, the transport trays being positioned on the base of the frame. A lowering device is provided for lowering the frame of the tray, substantially without vertical movement of the transport plate.

Abstract:
A grabber for automatically grabbing and placing packing units of different dimensions and configurations includes a frame with a support, a hold-down device and a stripper attached to the frame. The support supports a bottom portion of a respective packing unit, and is generally horizontally movable with respect to the frame. The hold-down device is downwardly movable toward the support to clamp the respective packing unit between the support and the hold-down device. The stripper is disposed above the support and is generally horizontally movable. The respective packing unit is substantially immobilized by the hold-down device and the stripper as the support is retracted.
Abstract:
A stacking apparatus and method of multi-layer stacking of objects of different sizes on a support to form a stacked support includes providing a support handler. A support is elevated with the support handler and objects of different sizes and shapes are stacked on the support to form a stacked support. A stacked support is removed and an empty support supplied with the support handler. A placeholder is provided above the support handler. The placeholder has a first mode for receiving objects on the placeholder. The placeholder has a second mode for providing access to a support on the support handler. The placeholder is put in the first mode while the support handler removes a stacked support and supplies an empty support. The placeholder is put in the second mode when the support handler is elevating a support being stacked with articles. Objects that have been received on the placeholder during the first mode are deposited from the placeholder to the support when changing the placeholder from the first mode to the second mode.

Abstract:
An automatic device and method for multi-layer stacking on a support with objects to be stacked in a predetermined spatial arrangement includes a control for determining a particular order and particular spatial positions of the objects to be stacked on the support, at least two conveying systems operable to transport the objects in the particular order, and at least two handling devices that take respective objects from a respective conveying system and displace the respective objects to the articular spatial positions, thereby forming a stack of the objects on the support.
Abstract:
The invention pertains to a distribution device for parcels with a deflection element for distributing the parcels that arrive on a conveyor pathway in approximately the horizontal direction to branched-off conveyor pathways with approximately the same transport plane. According to the invention, three conveyor pathways (T1, T2, T3) branch off from a distribution point. The ends of the deflection element (A) are connected to horizontally displaceable plungers of stationary stroking mechanisms (H1, H2) by means of pivot points (D1, D2) in order to displace the ends from one lateral limit of the central conveyor pathway (T3) to the other lateral limit. One of the two stroking mechanisms (H1, H2) is fixed perpendicularly to the transport direction of the central conveyor pathway (T3), with the other stroking mechanism (H1, H2) being mounted in a pivoted fashion.
Abstract:
A loading, picking or sorting system and a method for loading, picking or sorting packaged items, include a removal device for removing packaged items provided in a warehouse, a buffer device for buffering the removed packaged items, and a dispensing device for withdrawing buffered packaged items from the buffer device according to a particular loading order for outputting to a processing unit handling the packaged items in order to complete the loading order. In order to achieve low production, operating, and maintenance costs, the buffer device includes at least one collecting conveyor on which the buffered packaged items are collected.
