摘要: A tank for transporting fluids on a truck chassis includes a front wall, side walls, a back wall, a top, and a floor. Interior stairs extend from the floor to an opening in the top to allow stair access into the interior with integrated safety handrails on the fill port cover. Stair toe kicks act as internal transverse baffles to help control fluid motion and surging. The stairs also act as a structural stiffener between longitudinal baffles. Horizontal baffles assist in controlling fluid motion and surging. Formed baffles provide strength and stiffness. A baffle interlocking system improves joint integrity and aids manufacturing. Formed outer skins provide structural strength for the tank. Ports located in front and rear bulkheads may be used for tank ventilation or, depending on local safety codes, as secondary access points. Doors or other access openings may be located in the tank bulkheads to provide better interior access.

摘要: A rock knocker bracket holds a rock ejector such as a chain or bar that is used to clear debris from the gap between two tires of a mining vehicle. The rock ejector is pivotally mounted on a horizontal, lateral pin that is held at both ends by side plates of the bracket. The pin has a series of holes formed along its length. Bar retainers and washers mounted on the pin allow the rock ejector to be moved laterally along the pin and thereby provide for different laterally spacing configurations of the tires. Fasteners pass through holes in the bar retainers and the holes in the pin to hold the rock ejector at a predetermined lateral location along the pin. Alternative designs for the pin and the bracket include other systems for laterally moving the rock ejector and mounting it in the predetermined lateral position.

摘要: A clamp for supporting an apparatus, such as a pump, a motor, or other mechanism to be lowered into a drill hole includes two coupling halves connected together using a bolts and nuts. Each half has a semicircular interior that forms a cylinder when two halves are connected to each other. Protrusions in the semi-circular interiors mate with indentations in the pump wall to support the pump. Chains or other devices attach to eyelet bolts or to a pivoting bail affixed on top of the coupling halves so that the clamp and the pump may be raised or lowered by external lifting apparatus.
