Abstract: The invention provides a highly heat-stable polyester container and a method of manufacturing the polyester container, which can be treated by retort sterilization at a high temperature after filling food, a drink or the like in the container and sealing off it, and which has superior heat stability enough to prevent deformation and whitening due to heat shrinkage in a bottom portion of the container even when treated by the retort sterilization. In the polyester container, a barrel portion and a bottom portion of the container are heat-set, and at least the bottom portion of the container has an endothermic peak on a DSC curve in the range of not lower than about 150° C. but not higher than a melting start point.

Abstract: A stretch-blow-molded container obtained by biaxially stretching and blow-molding a thermoplastic polyester and which exhibits heat resistance or heat resistance and pressure resistance to withstand sterilization by heating at the time of hot filling. The stretch-blow-molded container is obtained by stretch-blow-molding a preform formed of a thermoplastic polyester as a chief component, wherein the body portion, bottom portion and shoulder portion are stretch-oriented, and at least the central portion in the bottom has an endothermic peak (B) due to the extinction of pseudo crystals in a temperature region higher than a glass transition point of the polyester but lower than a temperature at which the crystals of the polyester start melting as measured by using a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC).

Abstract: A method and a device for feeding a molten resin capable of accurately feeding the molten resin without the delay of feed timing by preventing the molten resin from adhering to route members before it seats on a mold to increase the positioning accuracy of the molten metal in the mold, and a method of manufacturing a molded part by using the fed molten resin. Vibration is provided to the route members such as molten resin guide pins (10, 40, 50), throat members (62, 70, 85), and female mold positioned in a route in which the molten resin (25) passes before it seats on the female mold (7, 63) by a vibration imparting device (27) or a gas layer film is formed on the surfaces thereof. Thus, the molten resin can be fed while preventing it from adhering to the route members.

Abstract: It is an object of the invention to obtain a multilayered molten resin mass capable of providing a multilayered compression-molded product in which the layers of the multilayered compression-molded product are distributed uniformly in the circumferential direction with the intermediate resin layer positioned entirely within the inner and outer resin layers. Abstract: A biaxially oriented polyester container with a uniformly and sufficiently elongated and thin-walled bottom part having excellent drop strength, improved ESC resistance and reduced weight, and a method of manufacturing the container. The biaxially oriented polyester container of the present invention is characterized in that, when an X-ray diffraction measurement is performed in and near a bottom center area of the biaxially oriented polyester container formed by a double-stage orientation blow molding method, a peak indicative of molecular orientation is observed near a diffraction angle of 2θ=15 to 30° and an orientation parameter (BO) expressed by the following formula (1) is in the range of 0.5≦BO≦2 in and near the bottom center area: orientation parameter (BO)=Ix/Iy  (1) (where Ix indicates a diffraction intensity near the diffraction angle of 2θ=15 to 30° when the X-ray diffraction measurement is performed in the X-direction, and ly indicates a diffraction intensity near the diffraction angle of 2θ=15 to 30° when the X-ray diffraction measurement is performed in a direction orthogonal to that for Ix)

Abstract: A method of feeding a composite molten resin capable of easily forming a multi-kind-multi-layer preform. An apparatus for feeding the composite molten resin has a nozzle portion which includes an outer discharge port in which an outermost annular flow path through which a main layer-forming molten resin flows, meets an outer annular flow path through which a sub-layer-forming molten resin flows inside of the outermost annular flow path; and an inner discharge port in which a shell layer-forming molten resin annularly flowing inside of the outer conflux path, meets the core layer-forming molten resin flowing inside the shell layer; the outer discharge port and the inner discharge port being arranged in this order from the downstream toward the upstream in a direction in which the molten resins flow; wherein provision is made of a shaft-like opening/closing valve for opening and closing the inner discharge port, and a gear pump for intermittently discharging the sub-layer-forming molten resin.

Abstract: To efficiently feed a molten resin to the resin holders. An intermittently feeding device works to intermittently feed a transfer unit equipped with resin holders, and has a cam supported by a motor via a support. The cam is rotated by the motor. A cam follower of a moving block meshes with the screw of the cam, and the moving block moves along a support rail accompanying the turn of the cam. The motor rotates at a constant speed, and the transfer unit 3 is fed intermittently depending on the shapes of the cam and of the cam follower.
