摘要： A composition including a polymeric binder for the negative electrode of a secondary energy storage device is provided. The polymeric binder provides a matrix for particulate electrode-forming materials, which may include an active material and a conductive material. The polymeric binder contains acid functional groups. The polymeric binder also contains other functional monomers, which also may contribute to the performance of the polymeric binder in the negative electrode.
