Abstract: This disclosure relates to techniques for a wireless device to predict and mitigate thermal pressure. Status information for multiple parameters for the wireless device may be received. A predicted thermal status for the wireless device may be determined based at least in part on the status information for the multiple parameters for the wireless device. The wireless device may determine whether to perform thermal mitigation action based at least in part on the predicted thermal status for the wireless device.

Abstract: A self-organizing device may include a recovery control module which may monitor different events from various different domains, for example from different layers of the software stack, associated with wireless communications of the device. Upon identifying a specific condition based on the monitored information, the device may execute a corresponding auto-recovery mechanism to mitigate adverse effects of the condition experienced by the device. Devices may provide monitored information to servers, e.g. to cloud servers, which may use expert systems to analyze the information collected from multiple devices, for example from globally dispersed devices, and may define mitigation action responses corresponding to specific scenarios or conditions that include device-specific considerations. The mitigating action responses may be deployed to the devices by the servers as expert system rules in the form of uncompiled code or hot patch code that the devices may later use to implement the necessary mitigation actions as warranted.

Abstract: The subject technology receives an input data set including rows of values for features of the input data set, each row including a different combination of values for the features. The subject technology classifies one or more rows of values as an anomaly based on anomaly scores determined for each of the rows of values. The subject technology determines a subset of the different features that affect the anomaly scores of the one or more rows classified as the anomaly. The subject technology determines a root cause for at least one of the rows classified as the anomaly based on values of the subset of the different features for the at least one of the rows. The subject technology provides an indication of the root cause to a device to enable the device to perform an action when encountering conditions corresponding to the root cause at a subsequent time.

Abstract: An apparatus, method and system for receiving an input indicating a mode into which to set a user equipment (UE) and at least one further UE associated with the UE, determining whether a connection circuit switched (CS) connectivity or packet switched (PS) connectivity and when the connection is the CS connectivity, generating a short messaging service (SMS) message that indicates the mode corresponding to the input. Also, receiving connectivity information for a plurality of UEs from a cloud network component, the UEs being associated with one another, the connectivity being CS connectivity or PS connectivity, receiving a response indication corresponding to a response performed on an incoming call by a first one of the UEs, the first UE having a PS connectivity, matching the response indication to a corresponding cause code and transmitting the corresponding cause code to a second one of the UEs having a CS connectivity.

Abstract: The subject technology extracts features from each log line of a log file. The subject technology determines, based on the features, a sequence of log lines. The subject technology determines probabilities of log lines occurring within a window of time from a respective log line from the sequence of log lines, and determines probabilities of periods of time within the window of time that a next log line will occur after the respective log line. The subject technology segments log lines from the log file into sequences of log lines based on the probabilities of the set of log lines occurring within the window of time and the probabilities of periods of time that the next log line occurs after the respective log line. The subject technology determines a predicted subsequent log line, and detects an anomaly when an actual subsequent log line differs from the predicted subsequent log line.
